  If you don't enjoy working with the public choose another career.

  i'am sure you have come across someone with that type of personality, working in sales, clerk, waitress or waiter.

  most are nice but once in a while you come across that person that needs to choose a different career.. this morning i met that person, she just screwed up my day.

  i'm thinking maybe her day wasn't a good start,a fight with her husband, bills or children but don't screw up my day.

  Simon: I wasn't rude and I understand I worked in sales for years.

  This is what happen, the clerk said my items comes to $20.85

  I gave her $21.00. So she turn to me and repeated it's $20.85.

  So I said $28.05. She, no sir 20.85 and stood there looking at me.

  There are folks standing behind me looking at me like I can't count.

  So I ask again, did you say 20.85 or 28.05. She is standing there with my 21.00.

  Once again she said , sir 20.85.

  OK, it's early and my mind have not caught up with the rest of the world, WTH.

  So after a few seconds she looks at the money in her hand and rung up the sale.

  I felt like an idiot walking out.

  So when you come across an angry sales person what do you do????

  Does Anyone Still Believe in God?

  do any of you ex-jw's still believe in god?

  even with the new rebranding/softening of this religion, i still don't see how people can believe in him.

  the god of the old testimate is an angry murderer who approved rapes and slavery and killed thousands of men, women and children.

  When you have lost your religion or never had one finding a label can feel

  important. For a label to fit it needs to resonate personally and also communicate

  what you want to say to the world. So what options do we have.

  My thoughts re Pope Francis

  so today i'm watching cbs news coverage of the popes visit to america.

  first, let me say i'm not religious at all at this point in my life.

  still a few things stood out to me about the news coverage of his visit.. first thing i wondered was if a gb member happened to garnish this much press (unlikely) what would his message be?

  Mr Pope do you folks shun members? How does God speak to you? Are

  you the true religion and why? Do you believe we are in the last days, if not

  why not? And what do you think about the WT religion, are they nuts???

  Independent living for Senior facilities are thru the roof here. What about your area??

  we checked on a new senior facility, just to get in your must shell out $200.000.00 and.

  don't get that back.

  two hundred thousand up front and payments from $2500.00-$5000.00.

  Is the WT SLOW-ly Changing the importance of the Door to Door preaching work to something more profitable?

  its been a couple of weeks since a new c.o.

  was appointed to the circuit and im starting to hear tidbits of his talks..

  one brother told me that in one of his talks he asked the question; .

  If they give up the door to door work shunning will be next, trust me.. To

  much time on their hands to get into trouble, to much time to think for the RF...

  How many street carts can you set up in a small city, weekends you may see

  three our four set up in Pasadena Ca. I believe they will have a problem if

  carts are set up in every block, so how will they get their time for the month.

  A good friend in my senior guitar class told me yesterday his son told him, he will be

  moving into a senior facility. He own his home, his wife died year ago and he is 93 years

  old. His son is the only child, he doesn't live with his father. My friend has a care provider

  that live with him. While talking with him I could see he was upset with his son.

  And he plays the guitar well. So sad....

  New York: A question for you. As I mention some of these places ask for money up front,

  like $200000.00 just to move in. What happen if the unforeseen take place, all your saving

  is wipe out and you can't make the monthly payments, do they still kick you out even though

  you gave them $200000.00 for the privilege of living there???

  There have been plenty of seniors who have been scammed out of their life saving.
